This FAQ answers the questions we hear most about ordering from Digitech Printers: files, proofs, turnaround, pickup and payment. Files and proofs
What file types do you accept?
We accept PDF and AI files. Ideally, especially if you have a designer, supply 0.125″ bleed on all sides with crop marks. 300 DPI is ideal.
My file isn’t print ready. Can you help?
Yes. Our design staff can fix your file or build the design from your idea.
Will I see a proof before you print?
We provide a proof in some cases, especially when you ask for one. A ready-to-print file doesn’t get a proof.
Turnaround and rush jobs
How long will my job take?
It depends on the service and quantity. Rush jobs are available.
Can you do rush or same day jobs?
Yes, rush jobs are available. Call your nearest shop with your deadline and we’ll tell you what we can do.
Pickup and delivery
Where do I pick up my order?
At any of our three shops: Times Square, Penn Station or East Meadow. Delivery and shipping are also available.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Do you deliver or ship?
Yes. Delivery, shipping and in-store pickup are available at all three shops.
Pricing and payment
How do I get a price?
Every job is quoted per project. Call Times Square (212) 575-8258, Penn Station (212) 629-6150 or East Meadow (516) 550-7291, or use the quote form. Include the size, quantity, material and deadline.
What forms of payment do you accept?
There’s a $10 minimum for credit and debit card purchases of small prints and copies in store.
Questions about our services
Can you print custom sizes?
Yes. See digital and offset printing and large format printing.
Do you print architectural plans?
Yes, on black and white Océ printers, and we scan drawings in color. See blueprint printing.
What can you mount prints on?
Sintra, Gatorboard, foam board and acrylic. See foam board mounting.
Do you build custom signs?
Yes. We design and fabricate signs to fit your space. See custom signs.
Is there a minimum for T-shirts?
