Foam board mounting, lamination and binding in NYC
Digitech Printers mounts, laminates and binds work at all three of our shops: Times Square, Penn Station and East Meadow. Mount a poster or sign on foam board, Gatorboard, Sintra or acrylic. Protect it with matte, gloss or satin lamination. Bind a report, booklet or spec book in one of six styles. Printing and finishing happen in the same shop.

Mounting
Mounting gives a print a rigid backing so it can stand on an easel, hang flat or sit in a display.
Which board should I use?
| Board | What it is | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Foam board | Light foam core between paper faces | Presentations, events, short-term indoor signs |
| Gatorboard | Foam core with harder, wood-fiber faces | Signs that get handled or moved often |
| Sintra | Rigid PVC sheet | Longer-term signs, some outdoor use |
| Acrylic | Clear or colored plastic sheet | Polished displays and premium signs |

Lamination
Choose matte, gloss or satin lamination to protect the print and help it last longer. Matte cuts glare. Gloss deepens color. Satin sits between the two.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between foam board and Gatorboard?
Both have a foam core. Gatorboard has harder faces, so it resists dents and warping better. Foam board is lighter and costs less.
